Cookie Policy

The short version

This site sets no advertising cookies and no profiling cookies, and nothing here follows you to other websites. Visit statistics are collected without cookies at all. There is one optional exception, and it is off unless you switch it on: Google Analytics.

What is actually used

Strictly necessary. Cloudflare may set a security cookie to distinguish genuine visitors from automated abuse, and the contact form uses a short-lived cookie to protect against cross-site request forgery. These are required for the site to work safely and do not need consent.

Analytics — always on, no cookies. Visit counts come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which stores nothing on your device and identifies nobody. No consent is required for it and none is asked.

Google Analytics — off until you allow it. If you choose Allow on the cookie notice, Google Analytics loads and sets its own _ga cookies, which last up to two years and let Google recognise a returning browser. Until you choose it, the tag is never requested and no Google cookie exists — the page declares analytics storage denied before anything loads, rather than loading first and asking afterwards. Choosing No analytics revokes it and deletes the _ga cookies already set. You can change your mind at any time from Cookie settings at the foot of any page.

Embedded content. The portfolio and thesis flipbooks are embedded from Heyzine, and that provider may set its own cookies when the embed loads. That is outside my control; see their policy.

Managing cookies

Every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the contact form from submitting.
